Join Rhode Island Surf today! Tryouts are open throughout the year, pending roster spot availability.

Players will be invited to directly attend Rhode Island Surf training sessions with teams from their specified age-group and ability level, giving you a glimpse at what makes our club one of the most ambitious and player-oriented youth soccer programs in New England!

REGISTRATION PROCESS:

  1. Click the link link above
  2. Create a Playmetrics account and register for a tryout under the programs tab.
  3. Attend the tryout session to receive an evaluation from our skilled coaching staff focusing on 4 key player attributes:
    1. Technical
    2. Tactical
    3. Physical
    4. Mental
  4. Following the completion of the session, players can be selected to join one of the Rhode Island Surf teams in their respective age group!

ELITE TEAMS

U12-U19

The Rhode Island Surf Elite teams serve as the highest level of play within our Player Pathway. The program consists of two tiers: Elite Blue and Elite White. Each tier provides access to national platforms that feature some of the top youth club competitions in the United States.

  1. ELITE BLUE: Girls Academy League (Girls -- National Pathway) and MLS NEXT's new competition tier (Boys -- National Pathway)
  2. ELITE WHITE: Development Player League (Girls -- National Pathway) and the USYS New England Conference managed by EDP (Boys -- National Pathway)
