The Rhode Island Surf Junior Academy is a technical skills development program in a fun introductory environment for youth players U5-U10. This program serves as the foundation of our player pyramid, placing significant emphasis on developing individual skills and comfort on the ball while also beginning to foster a love for the game. Players will be introduced to the Rhode Island Surf Fundamental Skills at a time they are more impressionable to grow their technical base. All sessions conclude with small-sided games to afford the players opportunity to use their newly-trained skills. Rhode Island Surf staff coaches rotate through these sessions, giving players the best introduction to what our club is all about! This program runs for FREE in the Fall and Spring, with paid sessions available during the Winter months.
