"Ivan started playing recreational soccer in fall of 2020 and joined Surf Oct 2021 as a practice player on the 2010 Central team. He was offered a roster spot in April 2022 and played with the team for the spring season. Other than running and kicking the ball, Ivan did not have much game experience or technical soccer skills. By the end of 2022 with the support, patience and training from Coach Lucas, Ivan acquired the confidence and techniques to push himself even harder to enable his progress."
