Rhode Island Surf’s Copa Sol Tournament is one of New England’s premier summer soccer events, bringing together top clubs from across the region and beyond for a highly competitive and memorable weekend of play. Hosted annually in June, the event continues to grow each year, recently welcoming hundreds of teams from multiple states and even international participation. Designed to deliver a first-class tournament experience, Copa Sol offers the perfect balance of high-level competition and an enjoyable atmosphere for players, coaches, and families alike.

This year we will incorporate the spirit of the 2026 World Cup with prizes, watch alongs, and a few more surprises. Younger age groups compete in a traditional tournament format with 3 games and the opportunity to advance to knockout rounds, while older age groups benefit from a showcase environment.
